Dr. Parikh has been a board-certified ophthalmologist for more than 9 years and has performed more than 12, 000 LASIK procedures, including many for NFL players on the San Diego Chargers. He was one of the first west coast surgeons trained in custom Wavefront treatment technology. He also specializes in LASIK, PRK, LASEK, cataracts, intraocular lenses, custom LASIK, intrastromal corneal rings (Intacs), and CK. Dr. Parikh was recently named the the President of the San Diego Medical Society. Dr. Parikh graduated cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from the University of California, Irvine.
