Deanna is from Bay Shore, NY and has been a licensed chiropractor for over 25 years. Throughout her career, she has practiced in St. Louis, Phoenix and San Diego. She thoroughly understands human bio-metrics and the importance of alignment and balance. At a young age she became deeply passionate about physical fitness and wanted to learn more about Pilates. Where she lived on Long Island, Pilates studios were few and far between, and it wasn’t until a move to San Diego that she discovered numerous Pilates studios. She immersed herself in the practice and knew right away that she wanted to semi-retire as a chiropractor and become a Pilates instructor. One of Deanna's favorite quotes from Joseph Pilates' book, "Return to Life Through Contrology," reads: "Contrology develops the body uniformly, corrects wrong postures, restores physical vitality, invigorates the mind, and elevates the spirit." Deanna loves talking with clients after class and seeing that they feel challenged and accomplished. Her connection with clients is one of her favorite parts of being a Pilates instructor. In her free time, Deanna loves spending time with family and friends, doing Pilates, exploring astronomy, and wine tasting.

Kat’s interest in pilates started when she was a dancer in Sydney, where she would take regular mat pilates classes. After suffering injuries from an accident, pilates greatly helped her recovery and Kat realized how versatile pilates could be, and how much pilates helped people that were unable to do “regular” exercise. Since moving to America and starting a family, Kat’s passion for pilates grew and becoming a Pilates instructor felt like the natural path for Kat. Kat has always had a passion for health and wellness and wanted to find a career where she could go from helping people that are recovering from injuries or dealing with health problems to teaching group classes to build strength, flexibility and mind body connection. Kat started her teacher training with Club Pilates in January 2018 and does pilates 6 times a week!
Bri started her Pilates practice when she was 18 years old at Club Pilates. She always had an athletic lifestyle with soccer, gymnastics, cheer, and dance. After graduating high school Bri had the desire to stay fit and got a gym membership but it just wasn’t her style. She struggled with showing up to workout and not really ever knowing what would be best for her goals. That was until she found Pilates, she instantly fell in love. After a week of taking Pilates classes Bri knew becoming a Pilates instructor was going to be a perfect fit for her. She was a dance instructor and was also the head coach for a high school cheer team, so how can she not enjoy teaching Pilates? Bri is currently studying Kinesiology, the study of human body movement, and will continue to pursue her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. What a perfect combination, right? When Bri isn’t getting down on a reformer, she’s performing at SeaWorld San Diego as a dancer in the Sesame Street Parade dancing alongside Elmo, Big Bird and the rest of the Sesame Street crew. Bri’s favorite exercise in Pilates is the Teaser, of course, on any apparatus. She believes that they are extremely challenging but once you nail it they look so pretty and effortless. Her goal as an instructor is to make sure her client’s leave class feeling strong and proud of what they were able to accomplish during their work out. So come on in and take class with Bri, she can’t wait to meet you!
