Welcome. I’m Sylvia Flanagan and have been a licensed therapist for over 10 years and offer individual, couples’ and premarital counseling in a conveniently located Mission Valley office. A sliding scale is offered and I do my best to accommodate a variety of budgets. My approach and style of therapy is to leave my clients feeling respected and comfortable but also feeling challenged. I do my best to find a balance between being too passive or too directive and ultimately want to respect the experiences and circumstances of my clients and listen to the goals they seek to achieve. I have experience and have worked with a variety of issues ranging from depression, anxiety, couples counseling, codependency, life transitions, spiritual issues, LBGT issues, premarital counseling to addiction.
