ChEARS Hearing Center is at the Senta Medical Clinic, a Specialty Skull Base, Ear, Head, Neck, Balance and Neurosurgery Center. ChEARS Hearing Center provides comprehensive hearing evaluations, hearing aid selection and fittings, hearing rehabilitation services, tinnitus evaluations and counseling as well as assistive listening devices for the telephone and television. Custom swim molds, musician earplugs, custom Bluetooth cell phone ear pieces and musician monitors are also available. ChEARS Hearing Center welcomes the opportunity to talk with you and to listen to your hearing needs. Investing in better hearing is one of the most important decisions you will ever make.     Doctor of Audiology

    Nicholas Faillace, Au.D., earned his Doctor of Audiology degree from the Joint Doctoral Program of Audiology at San Diego State University and the University of California San Diego. His doctoral research was focused on comparing new stimuli for neurodiagnostic evaluation via Auditory Brainstem Response (ABR) testing. Prior to that, he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences from the University of Colorado at Boulder. He now specializes in hearing aid technology and the management of tinnitus.

    Education: Bachelor of Arts degree in Hearing Sciences from the University of Colorado; A Doctorate degree from San Diego State University and the University of California San Diego

    Certifications: Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology from the American Speech-Language-hearing Association

  • Karen Faillace

    Doctor of Audiology

    Dr. Karen Faillace holds a doctorate degree from A.T. Still University/Arizona School of Health Sciences. She has worked in the Audiology field for over 34 years. Although her passion and background are in pediatrics, she has extensive knowledge and experience in diagnostic audiology, hearing aid fittings, programming, and technology (both traditional hearing aids and bone conduction devices) as well as neurophysiology (ABRs). Dr. Faillace is able to provide some services in basic sign language and limited Spanish. She believes in a family-centered approach to hearing healthcare and invites family members to participate in the process of hearing rehabilitation.

    Education: Doctorate degree from A.T. Still University/Arizona School of Health Sciences. Master of Arts and Bachelor of Arts from San Diego State University
