Certified Massage Therapist“I received my Bachelors Degree in Pharmacy from Northeast Louisiana University in 1986 and practiced pharmacy for ten years. I then attended the International Professional School of Bodywork in San Diego where I received an Associate of Arts degree in Combined Massage Methods in 2001. I have been in private practice for over 21 years and have also taught massage therapy for 15 years. In addition, for the last 9 years, I have worked for Sharp Memorial Hospital at the Cushman Wellness Center. I am certified in Pre and Perinatal Massage Therapy and have studied and worked alongside Carole Osborne, author of Pre- and Perinatal Massage Therapy, for most of my career. Recently, I have become an authorized instructor of her 32-hr Pre and Perinatal Massage Therapy Specialization Workshop. I enjoy working with pregnant clients and I am grateful to have the knowledge that is needed to guide me in my critical thinking decisions when working with this population and having therapeutic techniques that are safe and therapeutic.
