Meet Your Trainer Matthew Ceglie's fitness journey began unexpectedly after suffering a severe lumbar spine injury in his late 20's. This transformed his daily life, and Matthew was committed to using physical therapy, weight training, and nutrition to rehabilitate his injury. After bouncing back to total health, Matthew realized just how beneficial nutrition and exercise could be, so he became a personal trainer. Roughly, 30 years later, Matthew has served hundreds of clients in San Diego and across the United States, focusing on helping those over 40 gain back a new lease of life while preventing injury and boosting their quality of life. Matthew knows how to lessen the risk of injury while still getting the most out of proper exercise routines that can create a body in balance. He teaches proper exercise techniques with passion and enthusiasm, ensuring pain and fatigue can become a thing of the past. Matthew combines a comprehensive program with a proper warm-up, custom workout, cardio, stretching, and nutrition to turn every client's fitness dreams into reality. Matthew has always had a passion for sharing his knowledge and skills with those around him. He enjoys waking up each day to continue his quest to help others achieve their full potential. Matthew has been an athlete throughout his life, played football from age 6 to 28. He's tried himself in baseball and basketball and still plays baseball these days.
